Beneath them, the grass turns green,

I wish it could always be this way—

It runs and runs, sweeping us ever onward.
A gentle breeze sets the petals swirling,
And a chorus of birdsong rings out from every side.
In this world, there is no room for the cold;
Every moment feels like a fairytale dream.
I wish it could always be this way—
That the cherry blossoms would never fall.
But time, alas, does not stand still;
It runs and runs, sweeping us ever onward.
Soon, summer will take the place of this fairytale;
The gardens will fade, and the season will pass.
Yet in my heart, I will preserve these vibrant hues—
This tenderness of a spring morning.
